Inspired by the amazing colours of autumnal leaves. I was also looking to create something more dimensional, so used moulding clay to create the leaf, I loved the effect so much I did a second picture of a maple leaf, which you can see here. The speeded up videos on my blog show how it was done, in all they took around 5 hours to do.
